Golem releases new tools to simplify running and managing decentralized applications
Continuing our efforts to lower the barriers for users to build applications on Golem, we are excited to announce the launch of Dapp-runner and Dapp-manager! With these new tools, running and managing decentralized applications on Golem Network is now easier, faster and no longer requires extensive programming skills.
Dapp-runner
We know that the development of decentralized applications can be a challenge. We created Dapp-runner to make the process as simple and streamlined as possible. By utilizing the power of the Golem Network, Dapp-runner can host your full application stack and manage distributed networking between deployed containers.
You can now deploy your decentralized applications on the Golem network using a simple-to-use command line tool that is as easy to understand as docker-compose. Even if you have no experience with Golem or complex APIs, you can start using Dapp-runner almost instantly. And the best part? It’s built with simplicity in mind, so it's extremely lightweight and easy to use.
So whether you're a seasoned developer or just starting out, Dapp-runner is the perfect tool for simplifying the deployment process and enabling you to take advantage of the power of the Golem Network. And because Dapp-runner is open source and transparent, you can feel confident knowing that anyone can review the code before using it.
Ready to get started? Install dapp-runner using PyPi, prepare a YAML config, configure the yagna daemon, and run the runner command with your prepared config. With Dapp-runner, the possibilities are endless, and we can't wait to see what you create!

Dapp-manager
We've created Dapp-manager to make it easier for operators to run multiple instances of Dapp-runner and manage them through a unified command line interface. Our goal is to simplify the process of deploying application stacks on the Golem Network, while also learning from the experimental implementation and improving our final design.
Using Dapp-manager is straightforward - first, make sure you have Dapp-runner installed and working. Then, install Dapp-manager and use the unified CLI to manage your applications.
The most important thing about Dapp-manager is that it removes a major hurdle for operators who want to run multiple dApps simultaneously. With Dapp-manager, you can manage everything from one place, in a simple and convenient way. We hope this tool inspires more people to take advantage of the Golem Network and create exciting decentralized applications.
