How to take part in the competition?

To submit your yajsapi use case samples:

  1. Fork golemfactory/js-api-use cases repository.
  2. Create a new directory within the repository.
  3. Add a Readme for your submission, describe your use case and (optionally) include samples of pseudo-code.
  4. Create a PR and Issue to the golemfactory `js-api-usecases` repo following the issue template.

Once the Issue has been created, your submission will be considered completed.

How will your entry be decided?

1. The Community Warriors of Golem will select the top 12 finalists

2. A jury composed of representatives of Golem will select 10 winners

PRIZES

1st place: 4000 GLM

2nd place: 3000 GLM

3rd place: 2000 GLM

4-10th place: 1000 GLM

Total prize pool: 16000 GLM

What use case samples we are looking for?

We are now redesigning/refreshing the yajsapi high-level library, including its programming model, API, etc. We would like to get inspiration from the Golem members, friends, and fans, and it would be great to test our yajsapi vision against use cases proposed by the community. Therefore we'd like to announce an open "call for use-case concepts".

We would like to kindly invite you to raise your proposals for yajsapi use case samples: for concepts for applications that meet the following criteria:

1. Using Golem network

2. Using yajsapi

3. Work in a browser, in “serverless” model, ie. where a daemon instance is hosted in the cloud (ie. javascript is used to call Yagna low level APIs)...

4. ...OR work in the browser (including golem daemon in browser)

5. ...OR work in the backend (node.js)

An ideal response/proposal should include:

- Idea name ("buzzword")

- Summary/abstract of the idea

- A sample scenario/flow of the application, as step-by-step like below:

“someone” does “something” and “something happens”

“someone else” does “something” and “something happens”

- (Optional) Samples of pseudo-code illustrating a proposed/desired API usage scenario
